Black Lives Matter Opening Night at the Woodlawn MIC

THIS WAS RESCHEDULED. 2/1 is the new date

In 2017 we hosted dozens of Bystander Intervention workshops, trainings, dialogues and facilitated conversations. This gave us an opportunity to research, listen, and learn. It’s time to share the education and develop the community access to partnerships that Matter. Resistance is necessary though you have to build communities to make it sustainable. Let’s Build with Art, History, Community in Our Neighborhood

    ABOUT US:

The mission of the Woodlawn MIC (Multicultural Impact Collective) is to disrupt the normative practice of catering spaces for whiteness. The MIC is a community hub that amplifies the voices of systematically displaced communities by carving out spaces for people of color to thrive in a gentrified Portland.
