Native Ways of Being and Knowing - With Illarion Merculieff

Native and modern Western ways of being are rooted in different assumptions about the world and our relationship to it. Ilarion was brought up in a traditional way in Alaska, that rooted in him a deep appreciation for Native ways of being, knowing and caring for the earth. He is a co-author of Stop Talking: Indigenous Ways of Teaching and Learning. This presentation and dialogue is free for those staying overnight at Menucha. The cost for commuters is $20.
