National Night Out- Ice Cream Sandwich Social - Montavilla Edition

Do you know your neighbors? When neighbors know and look out for one another, they create a connected, safer and more resilient community, which is important for crime prevention efforts and recovery following a natural disaster. Getting involved in National Night Out is a great way to bring your neighbors together.

National Night Out (NNO) is an annual celebration held on the first Tuesday in August throughout the United States and Canada. During this time, community members gather at small block parties and neighborhood events to strengthen their relationships with one another in the spirit of creating safer neighborhoods. Plan your own party or attend one in your neighborhood.

Come out to see us for some yummy ice cream sandwiches and getting to know your neighbors!

Milepost 5 is a new concept in development strategies for creating affordable and sustainable work and live/work spaces for artists in a healthy, interactive, community setting. By teaming non-profit and for profit developers, Milepost 5 creates an economic sanctuary that artists will never be priced out of. This unique community will serve not only the residents of Milepost 5, but also the larger arts community as well by providing programming space for performance, visual arts, lectures, workshops, meeting spaces, and studio space.
