Phone Bank for the Dream Act

    Oregon AFL-CIO

Join us this Oct. 5th, a national day of action, for a phone bank to support the Dream Act! We will ask residents of Congressman Walden's district to contact him and ask for a clean Dream Act bill.

Congressman Walden is the only Oregon representative who has not expressed his public support for the Dream Act.

Passing the Dream Act is urgent. Once October 5th passes, no one will be able to apply for DACA again. Thousands of DACistas won't have the chance to re-enroll and will be without protection from deportation, a work permit, and driver license after their DACA expires.

Congress must take immediate action to pass the Dream Act, a permanent solution for over 800,000 undocumented young people.
