Soundscape, a history of Old Town, Grand Opening

Please join us to celebrate the unveiling of a ground breaking series of public sound art installations evoking the past lives of Portland’s Old Town.

Sound bubbles will envelope visitors in audio theatre comprised of music, voice, ambient sounds from daily life, and story fragments from various eras and many of the cultural communities that have called Old Town home.

We will kick off the opening of this series with a party co-hosted by the Oregon Nikkei Legacy Center, the Jewish Museum, and the Hellenic-American Cultural Center and Museum.

Entertainment and refreshments will be provided.

Funding generously provided by the Portland Development Commission, the Oregon Cultural Trust, and Central City Concern.
