Messages of Hope With Attorney General Bob Ferguson

The purpose of the community forum is to bring the immigrant and non-immigrant community together to hear about the successes of AG Bob Ferguson in pushing back on anti-immigrant policy, hate, and discrimination that the current administration has brought forth; and to allow State/local leadership to vocalize their support of local Dreamers and their families, immigrants, people of color, and LGBTQ despite what transpires in DC. Much will be driven by whether Congress passes a Dream Act by Jan 19th or not. Prepare Students with Disabilities to Transition from School to Adult Life

A session to share information with middle school and high school families about what to expect out of a transition program and how to prepare.

    Why wait? Let's Start Now!

Are you a parent, educator, or student in Clark County? Are you wondering about life after transition, or how to prepare for your transition program in the future? This session is for you!

Many families find that they spend their IEP meetings and school years focusing on the current year and only when they approach the end of high school do they begin to hear about how to plan for transition. What we want to emphasize is that you don't have to wait to prepare for transition until the final years of high school. Let's learn together how to gather information earlier and build skills during middle school and high school so that students leave their transition program with a paid job they enjoy and a full life in the community.

Don't miss this interactive evening and the opportunity to meet other families and students the same age as yours.
