    Safe Communities Task Force Public Community Meeting

    YWCA Clark County

    SCTF Community Meetings occur the second Friday of every month and are open to the public. All are welcome!

    We meet from 10am-12pm in the YWCA downstairs community room at 3609 Main Street in Vancouver, WA.

    Participants receive updates on local gang activity, our SCTF Prevention and Intervention programming and each month hosts a unique community presentation/workshop.

    Our guest presenter is TBD.

    Postcards with a Purpose for DACA in Vancouver

    Make your voices heard, and help us #DefendDACA and #DefendDREAMers. We will be coordinating a post-card writing drop-in space with Southwest WA League of United Latin American Citizens Council (LULAC) Council 47013, OneAmerica, and the Latino Community Resource Group in the large group room at YWCA Clark County. Feel free to stop by at any time between 11am-2pm on Wednesday Sept 20th. We will have already stamped postcards ready for you to write messages in support of #DACA, which we will mail to our federal representatives urging them to protect DREAMers.

    Enjoy a Dinner & Discussion as we discuss domestic violence and homelessness with YWCA Clark County. YWCA Clark County operates the only domestic violence shelter in SW Washington.

    Our guest speaker is Kathryn Cohen, Assistant Director of SafeChoice at YWCA Clark County. SafeChoice advocates for, educates, and supports those affected by domestic violence and has been a leader in providing domestic violence services to Clark County since 1974
