    Portland Trans March 2017
    free

Transgender and nonbinary people of all ages face appallingly high rates of violence and discrimination, and these rates are highest for trans women and femmes of color. Organized by Greater Portland Trans Unity and the 2017 Trans March Planning Committee, the fourth annual Portland Trans March will bring much-needed visibility to the issues our communities are facing, while also highlighting the strength of our networks and the power in our collective resistance, resilience, and solidarity.

Watch this page for upcoming announcements about speakers, performers, and more!

We rally at 2pm at NW Park and W Burnside. Kickoff is 3:30pm!

The rally will be ASL interpreted, and the march includes mobility vehicles for people who need them.

Want to be part of the march? Questions to: greaterportlandtransunity@gmail.com.

Please donate to the 2017 Portland Trans March!

    https://pridenw.org/product/portland-trans-march-donation/

Donations support the cost of permits, accessibility vehicles, ASL interpretation, flyer art and printing, stipends for keynote speakers and performers, and A/V setup for the rally in the park.
