Naomi Klein presents No Is Not Enough

Donald Trump’s takeover of the White House is a dangerous escalation in a world of cascading crises: inequality, racism, militarism, climate chaos, and more. Many of Trump’s policies will generate wave after wave of crises and shocks: to the economy, to national security, and to the environment. In No Is Not Enough (Haymarket), Naomi Klein, author of The Shock Doctrine and This Changes Everything, explains that Trump, extreme as he is, is not an aberration but a logical extension of the worst and most dangerous trends of the past half-century. And she explores some of the movements putting forward an alternative vision and fighting to win the world we need. This event is presented by The Leap and Haymarket Books.
