Quanice Hayes Angelversary 2 - Peaceful Protest

On February 9, 2017, Moose was shot 3 times by police, once in the head, execution style, kneeling and trying to follow conflicting police commands. At the time of his murder, he was no more than a suspect in a robbery. Instead of being arrested and getting a fair trial, andrew hearst chose to pull the trigger on his AR-15 and end Moose’s life. He was 17 years old.

Bring protest signs, pictures of Lost Loved Ones of all races, and be ready for chants. If it's not raining, we'll chalk the names of local Lost Loved Ones whose lives were stolen by police and do other justice-related chalking art. If it is raining, then no chalking. Dress appropriately, either way.

Moose was a much-loved 17-year-old teenager idolized by his siblings. He is a missing star in his family. Please help us take back the media/police story of Moose and rehumanize him. Share his grandmother’s story about him: http://www.pnwfamilycircle.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Moose-story-by-Donna-Hayes.pdf

The Hayes Family requests that protesters refrain from violence or inciting violence during this peaceful protest.
