Basic Rights Oregon's Front & Center, a benefit featuring queer and trans artists of color!

Artists Repertory Theatre, 1515 SW Morrison
1515 SW Morrison Street
Portland, OR 97205, US (map)

Basic Rights Oregon and our friends at the Artists Repertory Theater invite you to Front and Center, a performance benefit featuring queer and trans artists of color! The evening's performances will run the gamut of performance art, spoken word, singing, and dancing. All proceeds from the evening will go to fund the racial justice and transgender justice programs at Basic Rights Oregon.

This year our headliner will be Monica 'Spirit' McIntyre (Spirit-They-Them), a Cellist, Vocalist, Lyricist, Wellness Advocate, Sound Healer, Reiki Practitioner, Artist & Black Excellent -- promoting empowerment and healing by any medium necessary. Spirit believes in the power of vulnerability, breath, creating intentional artistic relationships, honoring lovability, being seen/seeing, and growing compassionately through tight places to find authentic expansion. Healing affirmations, meticulous storytelling, self-love and metaphor saturate their lyrics. They use their voice and cello to seamlessly genre blend -- Blues, Soul, Folk, Classical, Reggae and other Diasporic sounds mix into an unforgettable musical landscape.

Early bird tickets are $20, or you can pay at the door for $25.

No one will be turned away from the event due to an inability to pay. If you require a comp ticket, please visit the ticket link to request one. You can also sponsor a ticket for someone else to attend!

This event is ADA accessible and ASL interpreted.

Proudly sponsored by The Quest Center.
