Village Ballroom, 700 NE Dekum
700 NE Dekum Street
Portland, OR 97211, US (map)

Outgrowing Hunger is a grassroots, Portland-based nonprofit focused on fighting hunger through community gardens, school garden education, and refugee farm projects. Spend a delicious evening with us, learn about our programs, and celebrate summer's arrival with our friends, supporters, volunteers, and students (past, present, and future!) This event is for anyone who has previously, or is interested in participating or supporting any of our projects or programs including school garden education, community gardens, and refugee farmer training. Here's what to expect:

5:30 - 6:00 Our garden educators will be on hand to provide a kids activity while the adults mingle over happy hour treats. We'll have a slideshow of our best work on rotation to spark the conversation!

6:30 - 7:30 A garden-fresh dinner will be provided by Margo PDX Executive Chef Calen Robinette with ingredients from our gardens, accented with exotic flavors representing the cultures we serve through our programs.

7:30 - 8:00 Hear from some of our directors, staff, and participants about how our work has impacted the people, schools, and communities we serve; recognition of key volunteers; and learn about the many ways you can support or contribute to our work.

8:00 Dessert and social time.

Your ticket includes dinner and one drink (beer / wine / soft drinks). Additional beverages will be available for purchase.
