What can I expect of this dinner experience? A kamayan is the Filipino traditional style of eating with one's hands. It is a feast of unique flavors and textures served atop a bed of fragrant steamed rice and banana leaves, to be shared communally by those at the table.

You will be seated with your party, if applicable, and the food will be carefully placed across the center of the table. Utensils are available if requested. Drink options include coconut juice, mango juice, and water. There are 3 courses, appetizer, main dishes, and dessert. Side dishes such as rice, as well as drinks can be refilled upon request.

Join GABRIELA Portland for a fundraiser dinner to celebrate revolutionary love and One Billion Rising for Solidarity Against the Exploitation of Women. We will share poetry, song and dance, and uplift the voices of women in our communities. We invite you to this traditional Filipino Kamayan Style (eat w/your hands!) dinner to break bread and envision a world where all women are safe and free!

All funds will help support members of GABRIELA Portland attend an International Solidarity Mission Trip to the Philippines this summer.
