An Evening with Shaka Senghor: Transformation and Second Chances

The Pathfinder Network welcomes Shaka Senghor to Portland for a special event in honor of our 25th anniversary. Shaka Senghor will share his personal story of transformation and second chances.

Presented in partnership with "Ending the New Jim Crow”—A Social Justice Action Group of First Unitarian Church, Portland, the event will include a talk by Shaka Senghor, followed by a reception with his book, “Writing My Wrongs: Life, Death and Redemption in an American Prison” available for sale and signing.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m., event starts at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets will be available on a sliding fee scale with a suggested donation of $10-$25 and free for justice system-impacted community members. Tickets are available for purchase through Eventbrite or at the door. RSVP is encouraged.

Funds raised at this event will help support the reentry services we provide at no cost to justice system-impacted individuals and their families at our Center for Family Success in East Multnomah County.
