Girl Up, Kids First Project, Project Dot, March of Dimes, Youth Ending Slavery, and other local youth-led nonprofits are teaming up to celebrate Global Youth Service Day by hosting a series of workshops focusing on youth activism. On top of great people and food, we will be highlighting the human rights work that is being done in Portland and abroad, how all the different issues each organization addresses are intersectional, and to motivate participants to get involved in effective service-learning and activism. There will also be booths set up to learn about local volunteer opportunities and initiatives led by national nonprofits, like The Freedom Project and Poeteen.

Be inspired by a day packed full of incredible speakers, service-learning activities, and meaningful dialogue!

In order to raise funds to continue our human rights work, there will be a small entrance fee: Adults (23+)--$5 Students (with high school or college ID)--$2 Under 10/seniors (65+)--free
