The Pride Study
By Us, For Us

PRIDEnet wants to learn about your community’s health concerns, your communication and technology preferences, and your questions about health research as we help the historic All of Us Research Program welcome LGBTQ folks from around the country. We want to know more about things like:

  1. your biggest community health concern?
  2. your most trusted sources of health information?
  3. how to improve health for our communities?
  4. what can medical providers could do to improve health in our communities?
  5. what should researchers study to improve health in our communities?
  6. What technology do you use at home?
  7. What other things are you checking out online?

Folks ages 18 and older who identify as a sexual or gender minority and live in and around Portland. Hosts and facilitators are Dr. Angela Carter of the Equi Institute, Lynnette McFadzen of BiNet USA, and Carolyn Hunt of PRIDEnet.

We need to know more. Lack of information on our social, mental, and physical health is a barrier to creating better services and policies for our communities. We’ve never been included before in a federal study like this from the beginning and we want to make sure that LGBTQ people feel great about participating. You can help.
