It’s Happening!

Tomorrow Thursday 11/9 Las Mujeres and PSU’s Undocumented Student Group is getting together and providing the PSU community tons of information about the National Clean Dream Act Awareness Day. Come join us from 8:00am-12:30pm between Smith Memorial Student Union and Neuberger building, and learn how you can help!

Without the Dream Act, the human impact of Trump canceling DACA will be devastating. 800,000 young people will lose their ability to work and support their families and all will be at risk of deportation. These people came to the U.S. as children and America is their only home. A clean Dream Act would protect DACA-recipients by providing qualified undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. before the age of 18 a pathway to citizenship. To be eligible, individuals must pass a series of requirements like graduating high school or pass the GED and either attend college or enlist in the military. Stand up for what is right and let’s advocate together to pass a Clean Dream Act.

We will have information about action items you can do to help the cause, along with posters to take pictures with, so you have the opportunity to post on social media and call out our representatives. We will also provide information about upcoming events in which you can participate in.

Together, Si Se Puede!
