Join members of the School of Social Work and community partners, Momentum Alliance, Oregon Queer Youth Summit, and Social Justice Fund, for a workshop and panel focused on social movement skill building. This event will highlight the radical resistance strategies of diverse community partners. Participants will also have the opportunity to develop plans for community action.

About the series: The School of Social Work at Portland State University is proud to present "Culture & Conversation," a month-long series of events designed to spark campus and community dialogue around identity, equity, and community. Now entering its sixth year and scheduled throughout the month of April, the series welcomes thinkers, activists, and community leaders in lively discussions around topics impacting communities in Oregon. All events are free and open to the community.

About the community partners: Momentum Alliance's mission is to inspire young people to realize their power individually and collectively and to mentor future social justice leaders.

Oregon Queer Youth Summit(OQYS) is an annual conference held by and for queer & trans identified youth and their allies.

Social Justice Fund is a foundation working at the frontlines of social change. SJF leverages the resources of members to foster significant, long-term social justice solutions throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.
