Orientation: Homeless Bill of Rights Campaign

Sisters of the Road Cafe, 133 NW 6th
133 NW 6th
Portland, Oregon 97209, US (map)

This orientation & workshop is for people who are interested in learning more about the campaign, whether they wish to be an organizer, or if they simply want to be informed! This is an orientation to understanding our rights, and where we are in building a movement. This movement will take everyone, and that means we are seeking to inform and build with anyone wanting to make change!

Please join us for dinner and conversations before the orientation at 6pm.

The Homeless Bill of Rights Campaign Orientation/Workshop is 101 crash course in understanding and demystifying the history of homelessness in the US, and in Oregon specifically. We will be sharing the strategies of our organizing campaign, and ways for you and others to be involved depending on the skills you would like to develop.

Each month we will share rotating "know your rights and resources" material.

October: We will focus on property rights and police interactions.
