Tuesday evenings, September 19-October 24, 5:30pm-8:30pm

This dialogue series is NOT for those who want to “start a conversation” about racism! This series IS for those ready to build community to dismantle oppressive systems.

During 6 consecutive Tuesday evenings we will RECLAIM OUR TIME: Exploring how our personal and collective histories have been shaped by systems of white supremacy, anti-Blackness and the erasure of First Nation voices and experience. MIND: Identifying how these oppressive dynamics show up in our thought processes, our relationships and our organizations. VOICE: Engaging in conversations and activities that draw out the wisdom of the community, highlighting the voices of the most impacted, especially Black and First Nation women. COMMUNITY: Building relationships across racial and ethnic identities and exploring the intersections of race, class, gender, age, ability, LGBTQ+ identities, legal status, language and more. *AGENCY: Sharing, brainstorming, critiquing and refining strategies and tools for surviving and dismantling structural racism in our everyday spaces.
