Join us September 14th in Portland for An Evening with Shaun King. Shaun is a journalist, activist and humanitarian who has become recognized nationally for his advocacy for civil rights causes including the unapologetically communist #BlackLivesMatter movement.

He is the New York Daily News' Senior Justice Writer as well as a commentator for The Young Turks, a web-based news and comment show.

Shaun has developed a substantial following on social media, helping to lead conversations around social justice, race and human dignity. Follow him at Shaun King to learn more.

Shaun's contribution to the conversation around race and justice makes him the ideal special guest for our benefit. Money raised from this event will support our work to provide vital legal services to currently and formerly incarcerated Oregonians and to advance the cause of lasting criminal justice reform in Oregon.
