Pre-Pride Costume Making!

Kendall and Shannon have setup an event for the ultimate community to march together at the Pride Parade on June 18th, but unfortunately the Rose City Rumble is the same day.

In an effort to show our support, while we wish we could be there, we will host a costume making party to help everyone look their best!

Oh My! plans to setup Tie Dye stations, bring materials for rainbow skirts, and we will also bring a boombox for dance parties! Additionally we all are happy to help any of you with your costumes! Need help making signs? Making stencils? We've got you!

Invite all your friends and if you have any ideas for more fun things we can do then please share them!

Portland Trans March 2017

Transgender and nonbinary people of all ages face appallingly high rates of violence and discrimination, and these rates are highest for trans women and femmes of color. Organized by Greater Portland Trans Unity and the 2017 Trans March Planning Committee, the fourth annual Portland Trans March will bring much-needed visibility to the issues our communities are facing, while also highlighting the strength of our networks and the power in our collective resistance, resilience, and solidarity.

We rally at 2pm at NW Park and W Burnside. Kickoff is 3:30pm!

The rally will be ASL interpreted, and the march includes mobility vehicles for people who need them.

Oregon Women Lawyers Foundation and Ogalla: The LGBT Bar Association of Oregon join together again this year to march in the 2017 Portland Pride Parade

Come early and join us at Perkins & Coie 1120 NW Couch, 10th Floor (near the parade staging area) on Sunday, June 18 for brunch and T-shirt decorating before the march. Please arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 am. Friends and family of all ages are welcome. Please bring a T-shirt to decorate. Supplies will be provided. Donations to offset the costs of the brunch and supplies are welcome.

If you want to skip brunch and T-shirt decorating but want to march in the parade with OGALLA & OWLS, please join us as at Perkins Coie at 10:45 am. Please RSVP for one or both events by Thursday, June 15.:

Unite Oregon is bringing back our monthly Last Friday events. The month of June we are celabrating PRIDE. Come join us for an evening panel with Resilient Connections members, a Unite Oregon program for Refugee/Immigrant Trans and Queer people.

Our panelists will address the affects colonization and white supremacy have on migration, gender oppression and the continued genocide of gender queer, black and brown bodies in our present time.
